Law and Order is over. That's right folks, the infamous series has been cancelled after nearly 21 years on the small screen. Since its advent, the series has seen the development of several spinoffs such as "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" and "Law and Order: Criminal Intent".
No doubt, this series has led to the development and execution of major courtroom dramas such as the Practice, LA Law and Boston Legal. Apart from Courtroom dramas, it could have placed an influence on Cop shows like the CSI bouquet, NYPD Blue, Due South, Pacific Blue e.t.c Here at the Islander Chronicles, we salute the many actors who have either donned the black cloak or the shield on this show and making it the epic TV Drama it will always be remembered for being.
Law and Order is set to introduce one other spinoff entitled, Law and Order: Los Angeles.
