Russian President asked to investigate Alien claims

Trust me folks, I thought this was a bunch of BS myself but it seems Russian MP, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov has asked the Russian Government to assist the investigation of alien visit. Below is a video documenting the request. Again, I emphasise, I thought this was Bull. This was after seeing BBC's Richard Galpin's take on the matter. According to his recent article on the BBC site; Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, the leader of the southern region of Kalmykia has made a claim on National television that he was abducted by aliens. The first question that probably comes to your mind, is this man fit to lead his region in parliament? Or from a more bizarre perspective has he got a point? Chances are, he doesn't and he is another mentally ill politician currently holding a seat in Parliament. My thoughts officially go to the families in the southern region of Kalmykia, Russia. Galpin states further that "Mr Ilyumzhinov said in an interview on prime time television that he had been taken on board an alien spaceship which had come to planet Earth to take samples - and claims to have several witnesses." We also need to bare in mind that this is the same dude who developed massive villages (somewhat equivalent to the ones seen the FIFA world cup hosts) within impoverished regions to host Chess tournaments. My closing statement, our recent alien abductee equates to a tool box.
